A dramatically coloured painting, which is full of atmosphere. Painted on all sides. I was asked to do a painting
to reflect the first world war for an exhibition, I wanted to express the sheer numbers of people who sacrificed
their lives for peace. When I look at the painting I can see the multitude of sacrifice by the symbolic numbers
of the poppies, and hopefully there is a sense of peace over the whole scene.
